Another Milestone

Yesterday morning Carlin lost his umbilical cord! It still blows my mind that just 2 short weeks ago we welcomed him into our lives. On Saturday I tried to put him in the shirt they had him in while we were at the hospital and it wouldn't button. Proof that the boy is definitely gaining weight. We have an appointment on Friday at 1:30 where we'll get him weighed. I'm pretty certain he'll be way over his birth weight which is reassuring because he lost a lot of weight the first week!
